Aggreko – QHSE Supervisor (Mali Syama)

Purpose

We are seeking an experienced QHSE Supervisor who will be responsible for ensuring that Aggreko’s Mali Syama operations comply with company and local health, safety and environmental regulations, and who provides the Mali Syama Management with a platform to manage QHSE effectively.

What you’ll do

Conduct regular QHSE audits at the depots and project sites and ensure actions from audits are closed in a timely and effective manner.
Provide HSE support to the Projects Team during commissioning of new projects and demobilization of off-hired projects.
Collate HSE statistics for monthly reporting for Mali.
Maintain all AIP QHSE documentation: Standard Work Instructions, service manual, HSE standards and calibration records.
Ensure adherence to Aggreko’s HSE Standards in Mali sites and depots and compliance with local legislative requirements.
Identify and evaluate local training organizations capable of providing effective EH&S training for site employees and contractors.
Provide QHSE induction to new starters and existing employees.
Coordinate, evaluate and record fire drills.
Ensure all equipment related to EH&S and emergencies is regularly checked, maintained and fit for purpose.
Coordinate lifting equipment testing and ensure all certificates are valid and available on site.
Assist the Location Manager with risk assessments for various activities at the location.
Conduct timely and comprehensive accident and incident investigations.
Communicate Aggreko EH&S instructions to employees and arrange EH&S training programs.
Identify and implement continuous improvements in conjunction with other HSE functions.

Job Requirements

Malian national (mandatory).
Degree in a technical field or management.
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in a QHSE role with an international organisation, with proficiency in QHSE management systems and digital reporting tools.
NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent internationally accredited HSE qualification.
Fluent in French and English (oral and written).
Willing to travel extensively within Mali and, if required, regionally.
Communication: clear, culturally sensitive communication for understanding and compliance.
Leading others: providing clarity, direction and motivation.
Drive for results: continuous improvement mindset.
Adaptability: working effectively in diverse environments and adjusting to changing priorities.
