Job Summary

  • Managing field visits and client communication
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Essential Job Tasks

Client Relationship Assistant will be expected to perform the following activities:

General Role
1.        Carry out the mobilization process on the direction of BI, obtain client feedback, identify potential clients and predict area demand.
2.        Explain to customers the different types of finances and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services.
3.        Meet with applicants to obtain information for finance applications and to answer question about the process.
4.        Receive applications for business and/or housing and or other products from interested persons.
5.        Analyse applicants’ financial status, credit and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting finance.
6.        Ensure their presence at the time disbursement and obtain client’s acknowledgement of receipt of facility either in cash or kind.
7.        Oversee the process of disbursing finance and collecting repayments from borrowers.
8.        Manage all communications with client and maintain all proper records and documentation
9.        Communicate instalment schedules and recovery dates to client at the time of disbursement.
10.    Visit client in case of default or late payment, visit clients personally and request for repayment or remind about the due instalment.
11.    Review and update applicant’s files.
12.    Review financing contracts to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy and verify use of finance monies.
13.    Coordinate in the field with local organizations and authorities in maximizing the efficiency and success of our financing programs.
14.    Offer suggestions on how to improve or modify the microfinance program.

Qualification and Experience

  1. Skills in Management and Governance
  2. Interpersonal Skills
  3. Fluent in English
  4. Prescribe required years of experience in required field
