POSITION: Non Expendable Property Application (NEPA) Clerk FSN-5, FP-9
OPENING DATE: March 9, 2017
CLOSING DATE: March 23, 2017
WORK HOURS:   Full-time, 40 hours per week
SALARY: Ordinarily Resident (OR): FSN-5 – 3,812,057 F CFA per year
Not-Ordinarily Resident (NOR) FP-9* – US$ 32,931 per year
*Final grade/step for NORs will be determined by Washington.

The U.S. Embassy in Bamako is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for a Non Expendable Property Application (NEPA) Clerk position in the Embassy’s General Services Office (GSO) Section.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The incumbent is responsible for the daily asset management of real property using the Non-Expendable Property Application (NEPA) in Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS), the US Embassy asset management software. He/she performs physical inventories of all property including furniture, furnishings, equipment and tools for U.S. Mission Agencies. He/she reconciles all discrepancies between physical inventory and database records. Position holder maintains the NEPA program by inputting all receiving data, denoting all movements of property and repairs to serialized items, as well as disposal information.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Applicants must address each required qualification listed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.
Completion of Secondary School is required.
Three years of progressively responsible experience in inventory/supply is required.
Level III (Good knowledge) French, English and Bambara is required. English proficiency will be tested.
Computer skills in Word Processing, Excel and email.
Good organizational and planning skills.  Ability to anticipate problems so as to meet reporting requirement in a timely manner.
Ability to develop and entertain good rapport with colleagues and American families and have good people skills.

Current OR employees serving a probationary period are not eligible to apply.
Current OR employees with an Overall Summary Rating of Needs Improvement or Unsatisfactory on their most recent Employee Performance Report (EPR) are not eligible to apply.
Current NOR employees hired on a Family Member Appointment (FMA) or a Personal Service Agreement (PSA) are not eligible to apply within the first 90 calendar days of their employment, unless they have a When Actually Employed (WAE) work schedule.
