SALARY: CFA 2,693, 568 per annum (Starting salary before benefits and allowances)
The U.S. Agency for International Development, co-located with the US Embassy Bamako, is seeking one individual as Voucher Examiner (Junior) in the Office of Financial Management.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
This is a non-supervisory Voucher Examiner position in the Controller’s Office. This Voucher Examiner’s primarily responsibility consists of the review and the analysis of a wide variety of vouchers (OE and Project). The position has primary responsibility to review and process vouchers related to employees of the Mission: Direct Hires, Foreign Service Nationals, Third-Country Nationals and US Personal Service Contractors. This includes, but is not limited to, in-country and international travel vouchers, shipping and related transportation costs.

UALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Prior Work Experience: One year experience in payment processing, government systems and computer operations is required.
Language Proficiency: Level III proficiency in both written and spoken English is required. Incumbent must be able to explain the vouchering completion process to the Controller and routine communication with Mission staff in English is required.
Knowledge: Specific knowledge and understanding of USAID and US Government Travel and Shipping Regulations is required.
Skills and Abilities: Must have well developed analytical skills, computer skill and mathematical skills. Incumbent must be service oriented and possess good communication skills.
