The Executive Office of USAID Mali has an immediate opening for U.S. Citizens (Host Country Local Residents) and EFM of the U.S. Mission on the following position: USAID Mali Governance and Communications Program Support Specialist

4. Position Title: Program Support Specialist (GS-12)
5. Salary: Commensurate with the position and
Experience. NOT to exceed the equivalent of GS- 12 ($60,274 – 78,355)
Final compensation within the GS-12 grade range will be based upon the candidate’s past salary, work history and educational background.
6. Organization Location of Position: USAID/Mali, Bamako, Mali
7. Direct Supervisor: Governance and Communications Team Leader
8. Supervisory Control: Minimal Technical Supervision.
9. Period of Performance: The Personal Services Contract will be for one year with the possibility of extension.
Extensions will depend on the need for continuation of such services, availability of funds, and satisfactory performance.
10. Place of Performance: Bamako, Mali
11. Security Access: US: “Work Authorization”

This is an entry level professional development assistance position intended for someone with a graduate degree in one of the social sciences and limited or no post graduate professional work experience. Applicants will need to provide a cover letter explaining their qualifications for the position in accordance with the requirements listed in Section V below. An applicant’s qualifications may be supported by the research/education they have completed, and or past work experience, paid or voluntary. Applicants are required to provide the names and contact information for references who can support their qualifications for the position.”
