Voucher Examiner (Office Of Financial Management)
Completion of secondary school is required. Additional formal training in payment verification procedures, accounting, auditing and/or bookkeeping is desired. Two years’ experience in payment processing, government systems and computer operations is required. One year of experience with a U.S. government agency with progressively increased experience in voucher examination is desirable. Level IV proficiency in both written and spoken English is required. Incumbent must be able to explain the vouchering completion process to Controller and routine communication with Mission staff in English is required. Specific knowledge and understanding of USAID and US Government Travel and Shipping Regulations is required. Must have well developed analytical skills, computer skill and mathematical skills. Incumbent must be service oriented and possess good communication skills.
Please note:Applicants working for the US Government will be given priority.  This means if two applicants have the same score as determined by the committee, preference will be given to a US Government employee.
