Description : Primary responsibility for the long term Mine Planning and all the engineering functions are to develop and implement the relevant long term strategic plans to the effective achievements of the purpose of the job.
Location : Sadiola – Mali
Qualifications Required : Degree in Mining Engineering
Experience Required : Should have a minimum 3-5 Years relevant experience in the mining industry, preferably in open pit operations, with at minimum of 1 year at a senior level. Able to show initiative and co-ordination skills and be able to interact within a Mining Engineering section. Must have good experience with Datamine, XPAC and Whittle software . Able to interact with the Mining Contractors personnel and other Departments. Be physically fit and be able to pass pre-employment and medical examinations. Must have good written and oral communication skills in English language. Ability to train subordinate personnel.
Role and Responsibility : Primary responsibility for the long term Mine Planning and all the engineering functions are to develop and implement the relevant long term strategic plans to the effective achievements of the purpose of the job. And to meet the key performance areas of the job. Propose, develop and implement the best available most available most effective engineering planning techniques, aiming at optimizing the mining unit operations. Responsible for the annual calculation and publication of ore reserves for Sadiola mine. – Lead competent Person: Ore reserves.
