USAID/Mali has an immediate opening for an experiencedAID Foreign Service National (FSN) Resilience Program Coordinator (RPC) who will serve in USAID/Mali’s Program Office and will focus the following primary areas of work: resilience programming integration and reporting (50%), and Coordination (50%).
The applicant must have held a University degree or equivalent of a four-year U.S. university degree, (equivalency accreditation if a non-U.S. institution) preferably in a relevant field such as economics, public administration, business management, sociology or other related field required. The incumbent must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the implementation and/or management of development activities/projects. Demonstrated professional experience in the area of international aid in a developing country, including a minimum of 3 years of development or humanitarian assistance work, or related work for donors, the GOM, or other private institutions. Prior work experience and/or knowledge with a donor institution/agency are highly desirable. She/he should have training in the following: rural development, program implementation and evaluation, management techniques and computer software skills, the basic of team work, seminars and/or short courses in the area of aid coordination etc. English and French languages fluency at level 4 proficiency. Knowledge of local languages is preferred. The incumbent must have comprehensive knowledge of the context of international aid and the implementation of the Paris Declaration. Specifically, development activities in West Africa, preferably in Mali. Knowledge of USAID (or another donor) programming, policies, regulations, and methodologies is a plus.Experience in the use of office software (MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint) and internet technology are required.
