Summary of Responsibilities
This role leads the implementation and consistent execution of field / project operational
Standards. The incumbent drives the continuous improvement process while meeting all
Company requirements for compliance and financial performance. Maintains good customer
Relations and acts as the primary liaison between customer field staff and the BLY organization.
This role primarily is measured against productivity targets.
Specific duties
 Connect the interface between operational requirements and EHS systems, processes and practices so that statutory, company and client requirements are met.
 Identify risks / hazards and ensure corrections are implemented.
 Provide leadership on operational matters including drilling technical issues, drills and ancillary equipment, and ensuring competency development.
 Ensure relevant operational systems, processes and practices exist, are understood, and applied consistently throughout the zone. Alignment to global BLY operating standards, systems, and metrics.
 Partner with the Region Asset & Fleet Manager to ensure equipment meets the requirements of the drilling standard and client requirements.
 + Extensive travel may be required.

Selection Criteria
The right person will possess or be working towards the following position requirements
 Strong knowledge of drilling. 7+ years’ experience.
 Effective project management.
 Superior management and influencing skills.
 Preferable to speak more than 1 language.
 Sound business planning.
 Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Works collaboratively across the Organization.
 Effective time and priority management.
 Computer literate (MS Office).
 Bachelor degree; or diploma in a related field; or appropriate certification or relevant
Personal abilities:
Team Player; VERY organized (precise with regard to documentation & follow up)
Ability to be flexible
Fluent in spoken and written English.
