Summary of Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Clerk is responsible for manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, materials, supplies, equipment, mail and messenger services.
Key Responsibilities
Safe storage & handling of Boart Longyear & Drilling Services products & equipment
Completing the contractual obligations of Boart Longyear in a safe, cost effective and professional manner
Accurate record keeping – Receipting & Despatch
Follow the instruction issued by the Purchasing Officer as required
Report all Hazards / incidents immediately
Follow all policies & procedures to ensure his/ her safety & the safety of his/her peers.
Ensure site operates in accordance with OH&S and environmental protection policies and standard work practices
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 0-1 years related experience.
Cycle counting, stock take and inventory control
On the job training will be provided

Excellent housekeeping skills
Ability to read and write good/accurate English
Must have good attention to detail
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to communicate with people at all level
Must be able to coop with pressure and meet required deadlines
Must be able to work autonomously and/or in a team environment
Computer literate
Packaging skills
Industry knowledge an advantage but not necessary
Remuneration
