Description : The Garage Foreman is charge of mine garage that services and maintains in excess of 100 Semos Vehicles
Location : Sadiola – Mali
Qualifications Required : Qualified auto mechanic artisan on petrol and diesel vehicles with at least 10 years experience at Foreman level
Experience Required :
• A working knowledge of auto electrics and hydraulics
• Well versed in English
• French communication skills would be advantageous
• Computer literate
• Read and understand drawings and technical manuals
Role and Responsibility :
• Maintain safety systems at all times and carry out risk assessments
• Control critical spares inventory
• Cost control and budgeting
• Carry out planned maintenance and condition monitoring on the following types of fleet e.g. Demag, Iveco, Unimog, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Landrover, Toyota, Honda, Yamaha
• Maintenance and inspection requirements for equipment such as gen-sets, diesel pumps, mobile welding machines, pumps and compressors
• Supervise and develop a diverse team of varying skill levels
• Train and develop employees for successful localisation
Additional Information : Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent

Remuneration : The successful candidate will be appointed on an expatriate 2 year contract, which may be renewed after the 2 year period, and regular leave breaks will apply
