Description : The incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, execution and monitoring of the work conducted in the plant to ensure 95% plant availability in order to meet production targets.

Qualifications Required : Trade test Certificate (Electrical or Mechanical)
Experience Required :
Minimum of 10 years job related experience, with at least 5 years at Foreman level
Be in possession of a valid certificate of fitness
Strong leadership skills
Role and Responsibility :
To maintain Health, Safety and Environmental issues pertaining to his/her area of responsibility
To manage the performance of his/her employees
To do proper planning regarding the manpower in the section
To plan job objectives and ensure availability of infrastructure
To have the necessary administrative knowledge of AngloGold Ashantis administrative systems
To manage the maintenance of equipment and infrastructure
To demonstrate specialist knowledge in terms of equipment or technical processes involved
To promote financial performance in his / her area of responsibility and to meet the set budgets and targets
To ensure security (Asset Protection) parameters are adhered to
To have a sound knowledge and understanding of the commercial environment in which the company operates
Additional Information : The incumbent will report to the Engineering Manager

Remuneration : The successful candidate will be appointed on an expatriate 2 year contract with regular leave breaks, which may be renewed after the 2 year period. The successful candidate could be offered a US dollar based contract
